And, the look of it.
In the early 80’s, I bought a pair of Clegere shoes (he was new and coming then) on Melrose in LA while I was on business. They were so expensive, that I had them resoled twice! I loved them. Then, I took them off at my friend’s house, and her German Shepperd chewed them apart. Sad ending.
